Perhaps it was a hungry rabbit or the hoof of a white
tail deer that damaged a small branch of this Christmas tree. Whatever
the cause, it healed and created a small burl under the trunk. Seen by
an artist's eye, that burl becomes a rocky outcrop which nurtures and protects
the perfect Christmas tree as it grows. Hand Drawn
and hand cut- only $9.95 each.
Made from real Christmas Trees! Where the ornament above was born from an old injury, this tree on the left was shaped by competition with it's neighbors as they leaned into each other. Scientists will tell us they were leaning into the sun. It is possible, however, they also were trying to get a better glimpse of the Christmas star! |
